About Global Reformed Theological Academy (GRTA)
The Global Reformed Theological Academy (GRTA) is dedicated to providing high-quality, biblically Reformed theological education that is both accessible and affordable.
We specifically address the needs of pastors, lay leaders, and teachers who are already actively engaged in ministry but may lack formal theological training.
Our Mission
Our primary purpose is to equip the church for faithful service. We aim to empower:
Global Students: While we primarily serve a Filipino audience, our doors are open to students worldwide who desire a faithful Reformed education.
Active Pastors: By deepening their theological foundations for shepherding God’s people.
Lay Leaders & Teachers: By providing the tools necessary for faithful preaching and teaching in their local church contexts.
Our Theological Foundation
GRTA is firmly anchored in the historic Christian faith and the Reformed tradition.
Confessional Standards: We are confessionally Reformed, subscribing to the
Three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, and Canons of Dort)
as well as the Westminster Standards.
The Five Solas: We affirm that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, and to the glory of God alone.
Flexible Learning for Active Ministry
Recognizing the demands of active ministry, we offer a flexible educational model designed to fit your schedule.
Affordable Training: We believe sound doctrine should be accessible, offering context-sensitive training at a cost that is sustainable for local leaders.
In-Person Modular Intensives: Focused, short-term sessions held in locations like Metro Manila.
Online Courses: Accessible theological training available globally via Zoom.
Flexible Learning for Active Ministry
As we grow, GRTA remains committed to academic excellence.
While we are currently a non-accredited institution, we are actively pursuing a long-term goal of accreditation to offer recognized academic degrees in the future.
