Admissions Requirements
Applicants to Global Reformed Theological Academy (GRTA) must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background
- Certificate Programs: High school diploma or equivalent
- Master of Arts in Religion (MA): Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Master of Theology (ThM): Graduate theological degree (e.g., MDiv or equivalent)
2. Church Involvement
Applicants must be active members of a Christian church and demonstrate commitment to the life, worship, and ministry of the local church.

3. Pastoral Recommendation
Applicants are required to submit two recommendations from a pastor, elder, or church leader who can attest to the applicant’s Christian character, doctrinal soundness, and suitability for theological study.
4. Application/Enrollment and Tuition Fees
- New Students Application/Enrollment Fee: $15 USD (or ₱ 750) — one-time, non-refundable
- Tuition Fee: $10 USD (or ₱ 500) per course, payable at the time of enrollment
Application Process
Apply
Choose your program:
- Master of Arts in Religion (MA) — 60 credits
- Master of Theology (ThM) — 30 credits
- Certificate Program — 18 credits
Students who wish to take individual courses without pursuing a degree or certificate may enroll as auditors. Auditors must be enrolled students of GRTA, must inform the registrar of their intent to audit upon enrollment, and are not required to complete course assignments.
Submit Application Materials

- Completed application form (Available for download here)
- Educational background information
- Brief statement of purpose (why you wish to study at GRTA)
- Two recommendations (from a pastor, elder, or church leader)
- Application / Enrollment Fee (Payment here)
Review
- The GRTA Board reviews all applications
- Applicants may be contacted for clarification or a brief interview, if needed
- Admissions decisions are communicated by email
Enroll
- Accepted applicants will receive enrollment instructions
- Students register for courses for the term
- Auditors must notify the registrar at enrollment that they are taking the course for audit only
